So much to be happy about!

Happy March, everyone!

Yesterday was my birthday and I’ve been celebrating in the usual way—with lots of food and books. As always, you can see what I’ve been reading over on my Pinterest board. And tonight I’ll be eating at Café Boulud in Palm Beach, so I’ve got the food part covered. Life is good!

Today, three of my favorite writer-friends have books coming out, and I thought I’d share them with you (click on titles for buy-links):

THE LIST by Anne Calhoun is an intense love story set in New York City and England. I am very good friends with the author, and she shared a lot of the character development with me during many conversations we had over many months. That said, I was not a critique partner or involved in the actual nuts-and-bolts of the book, so I think I can be fairly objective when I say it is a beautifully written, subtly rendered romance. Enjoy!

NOTHING LIKE PARIS by Amy Jo Cousins is the next in AJ’s ‘Bend or Break’ series. I really enjoyed the first book in this world, OFF CAMPUS, for its character-driven narrative, and the way AJ weaves larger issues of LGBT identity and gender politics into a really intimate NA story. Can’t wait to read!

CHASING ME by Jennifer Probst. I’m excited for the next installment in Jen’s ‘Sex on the Beach’ series, as this young couple settles into their new life in Chicago. Bring the sexy!

Happy reading (and eating)!
